Day in the Life of Rebecca Winters

A typical Monday thru Friday (since I retired after 22 years of teaching French)

4:30 I'm up and writing.

10:00 Everything hits the fan and I hope and pray that by the end of the day I've written part of a chapter of my latest project!

Why does everything fall apart at ten?

Well, I try to talk to my invalid mother every day. That usually turns into an hour conversation. Sometimes it lasts part of a day if she wants me to read a book or the scriptures to her over the phone.

While I fit in a bite of lunch, I answer emails, talk to my friends, family. Our favorite topic of conversation centers on my darling grandchildren.

1:00 I record my two favorite soaps to watch at night, then I devote what time I have left to research.

4:00 usually means a little house work (I stress the little), shopping, church work, visits to my childrens' homes, running around to do anything and everything before dinner.

7:00 finds me revising my writing while I half-watch and listen to Hardball, the O'Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, the British Comedies and my soaps.

11:00 Bed time.
